I’ve seen Narnia 25 times. Each time I watch it, I notice something new. I remember watching the part where Edmund is first meeting the White Witch. He is entralled by her. He takes part of the warm drink and Turkish Delight. I’ve seen this movie so many times that I could practically quote it all (“You’d love it there Edmund, it has whole rooms simply stuffed with Turkish Delight!”) But there was one time when I noticed something new. As I watched Edmund be fooled by the witch, I felt sad. I knew it was coming… I saw it a million times (20-something times :P) But I was screaming “NO! Don’t do it..” even though I knew that Edmund was going to do it for sure. I thought, maybe this is what God feels like when we sin. He knows it’s going to happen…. He’s “seen it” a million times. But He must just watch it happen. However, there is a light at this end of the tunnel. Had Edmund never betrayed his siblings, they would have no real reason or motivation to seek Aslan at the Stone Table to save their brother. They would’ve never fought the White Witch alongside with Aslan. The prophecy would have never been fulfilled and Narnia would be under the reign of the White Witch to this day! I believe that God allows us to go through some trials because he knows the good that will come from it. I’m sure that when God was watching my sin, it broke His heart to a million pieces and He wanted oh so much to stop and save me. BUT, He realized that once the pain subsided, and **IF** I turned my face towards Him again, it would ignite a major growth spurt in my spiritual life. Sin is a trap. We definitely don’t HAVE to go through it. But some of us learn the hard way. PUHAHAHAHA… Lord you are crazy good. ♥ You turn my sorrow into treasured gold. (Wait that’s an Adele song…… another time! ^-^) (Goodbye age 23..)

“ThunderUp-ton, get it?”
I decided to get myself into Spring Fever and I decided to plant this flower plant. For a week, nothing happened. I began to think I did something wrong. Maybe I gave it too much water. Too much sunlight? Not enough? I was about to give up and just admit that I do not have a green thumb. But when I came into work today, I reluctantly checked the pot and there it was, a small yellowish sprout. Then I notice a smaller reddish sprout. I was so happy. It reminded me about being in God’s love. Sometimes we think we aren’t growing appropriately because we font see the sprouts. We don’t see the fruits. So, we think something went wrong and we just want to give up. But, everything good take time to develop. Life takes time. Don’t give up on God. He’s still doing his work in you.
